Default Users in different time zones?

New to Zimbra, testing if it could replace our current mail and calendar systems.

One thing I haven't been able to work out yet is how to set in what time zone a users is. We have people in different time zones in Australia and New Zealand and when scheduling phone conferences we would like it to show up in their calendars at the correct time.

Where would I configure this?

Hello and welcome.

I think you'll have to create two CoS (one for each location/TZ) and set the correct timezone for each CoS.

Take a look here for setting the timezone : 3 different time values - how to set everything to one timezone

Ok, I tried the following:

I changed the default COS timezone with:

Code:
zmprov mc default zimbraPrefTimeZoneId "(GMT+10.00) Canberra / Melbourne / Sydney"
And created a new COS WesternEurope with timezone:

Code:
zmprov mc WesternEurope zimbraPrefTimeZoneId "(GMT+01.00) Amsterdam / Berlin / Bern / Rome / Stockholm / Vienna"
I have one user with the default COS which creates a calendar invitation for 5PM. When I login to the account of the with the WesternEurope COS I'd expect to see this invite for 8 or 9 AM in the morning (depending if Zimbra would consider daylight savings), however the invite just shows up as 5PM.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
