does the isync connector compares all items at every sync?

Hi,

I have a problem with the isync connector. It looks like that it compares all items at every sync. This is very unfortunate if you have lots of items and a slow internet line.
According to the documentation is should only sync date for +- 150d (even this is far too much - I think) but here is says "Syncing remote folder Entourage (5232 of 11680)" 11680 is excatly the number of calendar items in Entourage back to 1999 and up to 2010......
Using a 8Mbit/512kBit internet connection it takes about 5h to sync.....
Any ideas how I get this working on a 512kbit/128kbit line?
