Default Where are the stats?

OK, here are the basics: ZCS 4.5.6 cluster (active/passive) on CentOS 4.5.

I had a couple of issues when I first rolled out Zimbra 4 weeks ago, but is (more or less) stable at this point. But -- NO STATS.

I followed the procedures in the wiki and here to verify the service and integrity of the DB. I also ran ~/libexec/zmlogprocess and ~/libexec/zmgengraphs. However, all I see is one momentary 'blip' of time when I first rolled out the server, no more.

Why are the stats not updating?

Hmmm...

I started digging/playing a bit and found a ton of graphs located in '/opt/zimbra/logger/db/work' while '/opt/zimbra/zimbramon/rrdtool/work/' contained only 2 gifs (no_data, connection).

I figured I didn't have anything to lose, so I copied the contents of the work directory under logger to the work directory for rrdtool and viola! - graphs.

So, what's missing/misconfigured?

Well... That didn't help. I got stats for about an hour after making the link, then nada after that. I see graphs, they're just not being updated. The contents of the rrdtool/work directory are being updated on an hours basis though.

I think I had a similar problem. Is there a symbolic link from the `specific version of rrdtool` (in the example rrdtool1-1.0.49) to `rrdtool`? To check go to /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/ and do an ls -al. Hopefully you should see something like this...

lrwxrwxrwx 1 zimbra zimbra 14 Sep 7 11:58 rrdtool -> rrdtool-1.0.49
drwxr-xr-x 11 zimbra zimbra 4096 Sep 7 11:57 rrdtool-1.0.49
If you don't then you should move the `rrdtool` folder out of the way and make a symbolic link
cd /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/
ln -s rrdtool-1./0.49 rrdtool
and then rerun the graph generation script.
cd /opt/zimbra/libexec
./zmgengraphs

Scott,

Yes, I did see your post when I was digging around for answers. That is not the issue in my case.

Oddly enough, they appear to be working again today. Log out and logged back in and the stats are showing.

Even stranger is the fact that I deleted /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/rrdtool/work.
