Default Multiple server war files from tomcat, acceptable?

I installed zimbra rpm successfully. Went smoothly, my complements to the chefs. My next task is to install alfresco (http://www.alfresco.org) which uses tomcat as well. Alfresco comes as a war file or as a package with tomcat. Is it ok to use the zimbra version of tomcat to deploy the war file or should I be looking for a different method? The idea of keeping zimbra stand alone for upgradability is a strong one. I understand that zimbra was meant to be a stand alone server but just wondered if there is a good solution to this situation. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

We don't recommend it. Best to install another tomcat/mysql for alfesco and run them on different port.
