Default Outlook 2003: Unable to Login

Hello--

I'm using Outlook 2003 and I can't seem to connect to the Zimbra mail server to receive e-mail. I can, however, send e-mail without a problem. I'm using the generic/default Zimbra POP3 mail settings:

Port: 110
Checked: Enable SSL for POP3 service
POP3 SSL Port: 995

Outlook 2007 connects just fine. When using Outlook 2003 with the following settings, I get prompted over and over that my login/pass is incorrect, which it is not incorrect:
Unchecked: Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)
(ADVANCED TAB)
Incoming Mail Server (POP3) Port: 995
Checked: This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
Outgoing server (SMTP) Port: 465
Checked: This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
(Outgoing Server Tab)
Checked: My server (SMTP) requires authentication

Outlook Printed Errors: (After I hit cancel to the login/password box)
"Log onto incoming mail server(POP3): Outlook could not connect to the incoming POP3 mail server because the server did not accept your user name or password."
"Send test e-mail message: Outlook could not connect to the outgoing mail server (SMTP). The problem could be your SSL or port settings for the outgoing server. Verify your port and SSL settings under More Settings in the Advanced Tab."

Any clues? When using Generic/Default ZIMBRA POP3 settings, how should Outlook 2003 be configured?

try with 'clear text login' enabled
global settings pop tab-(or servers pop tab which overrides global)
use the checkboxes there or
globally:
zimbra mcf zimbraPop3CleartextLoginEnabled TRUE
server:
zmpov ms server.domain.com zimbraPop3CleartextLoginEnabled TRUE
