Default Turning Spam and Anti-Virus off

We use an external Spam / Anti-Virus solution and I would like to completely disable ClamAV. We are running zcs-4.5.6_GA_1044.SuSE10 on OpenSuSE 10.2. In the admin console "Enable spam checking and antivirus" is not checked under global settings. If I turn spam and clamav off at the console manually then MTA stops. Ideas?

Uncheck in both the global 'as/av' tab & server 'services'
then zmcontrol stop/start
zmcontrol status

That's a question for Trend Micro or their support/forums/user manuals - it's nothing to do with zimbra.

The virus definitions are updated automatically, for information on what's happened to an email check the log files.
