Default Error when trying to send messages with attachments

Seemingly at random, we get this error when trying to send an email with an attachment:
msg - upload not found: d0f30118-8102-42fa-94a2-513fe9e365f6:e4124d56-f890-4335-bea4-8f90cca4d290
    code - mail.NO_SUCH_UPLOAD
    method - ZmCsfeCommand.prototype.invoke
    detail - soap:Sender
    data - [object Object]

It doesn't happen every time, but it has gotten more and more frequent lately. What steps should I take to debug/resolve this problem? Should I file this as a bug report, or has it been resolved previously and my searching didn't find the resolution?

    Welcome to the forums.

Which version of Zimbra Network Edition or OSS? Which operating System, which release of Zimbra (you can get it with zmcontrol -v)? Does the attachment exist? Is it on a local drive or a network drive? When you say 'it doesn't happen every time' do you mean: it doesn't happen every time an attachment is sent or it doesn't happen every time with that attachment? Does that attachment always fail or does it succeed at second or subsequent tries? Anything else in the logs?
    Regards

I'm currently running a Network Edition trial version 4.5.6 on Ubuntu 6.06. This doesn't happen every time a user tries to send an attachment, and often, subsequent attempts to attach the same file will go through. This has happened while attempting to attach a number of different files of different types. It is hard to catch logs on this error because the users that have this problem never seem to be able to reproduce it while I'm watching.

Is the attachment on a local or network drive? Which type of attachment causes problems or is it all types? Does this happen for specific users or do all users experience it? Have a look in the Zimbra logs and see if there's any other errors: /var/log/zimbra.log & /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log
    Regards
