Unhappy [SOLVED] osx firefox admin client view users email error

Hi,

I'm using the following client

OSX 10.4.10
Firefox 2.0.0.6

with ZCS 4.5.6_GA_1044.FC5 Jul 6, 2007

and I've just noticed that I CANNOT view users via the admin web interface as a administrator.

I get the following error...in a window

JavaScript error encountered in method
ZaAccountListController.prototype._viewMailListene r

and when I open the drop down and read....piece together the error I get

Permission denied to get Property UnnamedClass.filename

Has anyone else seen this problem..???

Note: When I use a windows xp client....or even the Safari browser on the same osx client....I do NOT see this error.

Cheers

There is a bug in Firefox 2.0.0.5 & .6 (it has been reported to Mozilla Bug 389007 - FF throws "Component returned failure" exception when submiting dynamically created form in JavaScript)
Heck, Mozilla uses Zimbra as their email solution-they know.
A workaround will be released in 4.5.7
see Bug 18606 - FF 2.0.0.5: Javascript Error with view mail fuction trough adminUI

Mmorse,

thanks for answering my question........and I'm glad to find that the problem is really NOT Zimbra's........

I hope that mozilla fixes firefox soon...........

I've just upgraded firefox to 2.0.0.6 and stumble upon this error.
Which is very desirable
Now admin cannot view mail, at least we can force him to use Firefox 2.0.0.6 only

lol-I guess that could be considered an advantage, at least untill the next firefox upgrade/fix
Of course you could always get the network edition with admin privledge levels...
