Spamassassin Urgent

Guys I need to know if there is a way to allow spamassassin to continue to work so it can tag messages as SPAM but never ever ever block a messages even if it scores higher than 20.

We need to allow all spam but it needs to be tagged and the users can filter it out themselves.

Does this search result do what you need?

make sure the final spam destination is set to DPASS (final_spam_destiny = D_PASS)
and set the kill to something ridiculously high

I had those settings set already, but we are seeing emails with scores above 20 being that are legit.

BTW that post should be edited to say:

zmprov mcf zimbraSpamSubjectTag '[SPAM]'
zmprov mcf zimbraSpamTagPercent 25
zmprov mcf zimbraSpamKillPercent 100
zmcontrol stop
zmcontrol start


This will tag at a score of 4, never kill (kill at a score of 20, which you'll never see) and add "[SPAM]" to the subject

btw when your in there set the dsn (delivery status notification) level to something more realistic-so over a certain level you won't be responding "I got your mail" to the spammers.

Ok so I found it there:

/conf$ cat amavisd.conf | grep -i final_spam_destiny
# $final_spam_destiny = D_BOUNCE;

As you can see its set to D_BOUNCE; but its commented out, should I uncomment it and set it to D_PASS; and then run "zmamavisdctl restart" ?

yup - and did you see the dsn setting? (probably just up a little more towards the start of the file) It will become crucial since now your allowing spam to go through that you stop sending the dsn's after a certain point.

Yup caught that part too. Everything went as smooth as butter, and all I have to say is that you guys really redefine customer support. I have yet to write up my Zimbra success story but will soon after I upgrade to NE from OSS.
