Default LDAP: error code 80 - index generation failed - Howto rebuild LDAP index?

I discovered being unable to add new Users via the Admin Webinterface.
Troubleshooting shows thatsomething with the LDAP index is wrong.

Can one of thepro's help me how to repair the indexissueon LDAP, as I have no LDAP KnowHow? Thanx for any help.

Default Workaround for creating new users?

In the meantime. Is there a possibility to create new users?

You're on 4.5.4, and should upgrade to 4.5.6.
Let's see what that does.

Thumbs up Can add users again after Upgrade from 454 to 456

After Upgrading from
4.5.4_GA_763.DEBIAN3.1 (OS) to
4.5.6_GA_1044_DEBIAN3.1 (OS)
on
tail /etc/debian_version
3.1
uname -r
2.6.19.1

creating of new users through the webadmin is now working again.
