    Default ZCS_5.0beta2 'Stats' Service

    According to 'zmcontrol status'

    Code:
    zimbra@mail:~$ zmcontrol status
    Host mail.webcasts.com
            antispam Running
            antivirus Running
            ldap Running
            logger Running
            mailbox Running
            mta Running
            snmp Running
            spell Running
            stats Running
    zimbra@mail:~$
But in the Admin UI it has an " X " and says its not running. Any thoughts?

I don't believe so as this is referring to ZCS_5.0beta2 and the stats service is new, well at least it is for OSS.

    From ' cat /var/log/zimbra.log '

    Code:
    Jul 31 13:08:04 mail zimbramon[8222]: 8222:info: 2007-07-31 13:08:01, STATUS: mail.xxx.com: antispam: Running
    Jul 31 13:08:04 mail zimbramon[8222]: 8222:info: 2007-07-31 13:08:01, STATUS: mail.xxx.com: antivirus: Running
    Jul 31 13:08:04 mail zimbramon[8222]: 8222:info: 2007-07-31 13:08:01, STATUS: mail.xxx.com: ldap: Running
    Jul 31 13:08:04 mail zimbramon[8222]: 8222:info: 2007-07-31 13:08:01, STATUS: mail.xxx.com: logger: Running
    Jul 31 13:08:04 mail zimbramon[8222]: 8222:info: 2007-07-31 13:08:01, STATUS: mail.xxx.com: mailbox: Running
    Jul 31 13:08:04 mail zimbramon[8222]: 8222:info: 2007-07-31 13:08:01, STATUS: mail.xxx.com: mta: Running
    Jul 31 13:08:04 mail zimbramon[8222]: 8222:info: 2007-07-31 13:08:01, STATUS: mail.xxx.com: snmp: Running
    Jul 31 13:08:04 mail zimbramon[8222]: 8222:info: 2007-07-31 13:08:01, STATUS: mail.xxx.com: spell: Running
    Jul 31 13:08:04 mail zimbramon[8222]: 8222:info: 2007-07-31 13:08:01, STATUS: mail.xxx.com: stats: Stopped
    Then:

    Code:
    zimbra@mail:~$ zmcontrol status
    Host mail.xxx.com
            antispam Running
            antivirus Running
            ldap Running
            logger Running
            mailbox Running
            mta Running
            snmp Running
            spell Running
            stats Running
That should be a clearer picture.

I've got the same issue here. CentOS 5. Let me know if there are any other details I can provide to help.

No, the stats isn't new to the OSS version. Can you file this in bugzilla (check first to see if there's already an entry).
