Is there any way to scan the entire message store for viruses?
I see a bugzilla request for this (Bug 2903 - Mailbox store antivirus scanning support - not implemented. ), but it's quite old.
Does anyone know of a workaround that is safe to employ?

This should work:
Code:su - zimbra cd /opt/zimbra/clamav/bin ./clamdscan /opt/zimbra/store --config-file=/opt/zimbra/conf/clamd.conf
Is there any negative to running what was suggested in the last posting? What happens if CLAM does find an infected file and removes it? Will the mailbox be corrupted?

So what you are indicating is that this type of datastore scanning might cause some problems then?
Is this type of datastore scanning supported?
Thanks
Vince
