stream /dev/conslog is not writable at /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/lib/Zimbra/Mon/Logger.pm line 50
console is not writable at /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/lib/Zimbra/Mon/Logger.pm line 50
no connection to syslog available at /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/lib/Zimbra/Mon/Logger.pm line 50

I believe that the perl module doesn't work!

Default Syslog

THis is an attempt to log to syslog - and it's more likely your server is misconfigured, since this is a pretty standard operation for the syslog module.

What's in your /etc/syslog.conf? Can you resolve the hostname that the zimbra logs are going to?

What OS are you running? Which build?
