Default Updated hostname, Domain not changed

I've finally switched the College email system across to a test Zimbra server that's been running for the past few weeks. I used zmsetservername to change the server name (IP address changed, local machine changed OK) & rebooted. Server name seems OK in admin ui, but Domain has not changed (including the accounts that were present. How is this change completed?

Accounts that were already present when you changed the hostname won't change. By definition, you've only changed the hostname - nothing else. What were you trying to achieve?

About 50 accounts were in place for a few weeks to test the server. They now have emails, calendar entries etc that I didn't want to just remove. Decided to migrate the server to the correct hostname, IP and domain name so that the users in place could just carry on, then add the the remaining 300 or so.
