Viewing members of distribution lists

Is there a way for ordinary users to view the addressees contained within distribution lists?

For example, one of our execs wants to know WHO is on particular distribution lists before using them to send emails. Seems like a reasonable request. How is this accomplished?

I guess that I could manually type all user names into the Notes field... Is there a "fast" way to grab all the user names? In Zimbra Admin, selecting all list members and pressing Ctrl+C does not copy the names/addresses to clipboard. Are they neatly listed in a file somewhere?

Of course, this would be a last-choice scenario since it would add a significant administrative headache as people join/leave each distrib list...

You want RFE:
Bug 7554 - Cannot view distribution list members when composing message

guess your 'fast'/temp way to get all the names (so you can paste them in notes) would be:
zmprov gdl list@domain.com

If you forget the list names:
zmprov gadl (or zmprov gadl domain.com)

The current distribution lists are one of those things with lots of varying requests.
Most often it's "allow users to see members of certain distribution lists" and "allow users to subscribe/manage their own memberships for certain lists"
