If you move your mouse pointer over a graphic file (JPG, GIF, etc.), it will show a thumbnail of the attached image.

That is incorrect...it has nothing do do with previews for attached images.

Enable it, then send you self an email with the following-hover over the names...and you'll get a pic popup:

Jimmy Smith
Medeski
Monk
Ray Charles

Modify away at that zimlet-put in your own names/pics etc.
Suggestion-make the pics small in size...it's loaded on login...so throwing your entire collection of employee photo's into the zimlet might be a bad idea...

A while ago I modified that zimlet to contain employee names (for a small company). And pull the pics from a directory/url.
With a bigger company/organization it would just make the file larger and larger...
Plus, I'm just waiting for photo's in the GAL.
(in the contact tab you would upload a pic to the zimbra server-and it would essentially make use of existing search/regex patterns for email addresses)

I'm waiting for it as well. Any way you can throw your employee weight around with the developers to push this one up on the priority list? Hehe.
