    Default can not get filter to work

    I have set email filters but this does not work.

    does this have something to do with my spam settings?

    I have selected an email and marked as junk, but it continues to come in to inbox

    What do you mean by '... marked as junk'? Unless I'm missing something there isn't an option in filters to mark a message as Junk. If you mean that you are moving it to the Junk mailbox then it won't be trained as Junk, you need to hit the Junk button in the Inbox for it to work correctly.

    I am marking as junk, and it does not read more of same as junk.

    I have set the filters and I am not getting emails filtered. Thanks

    Default Filter is set with a From and a Subject flag

    for example SUSE Forum as a filter, this message is to be discarded.

    I have set filter and body to get rid of this mail. yet it keeps coming into my in box.

    Search the forums (look for the word sieve - should do it) for details on how to list the filters via the command line and post the details of a filter that's not working. I'd find it very hard to imagine a filter not working.
