If all users are accessing their accounts via the web client, is there any reason for not disabling IMAP & POP3 services to free up resources on the server?
Doesn't free up a ton of resources...one of the better reasons to disable POP for instance might be so you don't get calls: "My mail's not here, not organized etc" when they select "delete messages from server" on POP download.
Then you only walking them through IMAP subscribing if they use their own client.
And if you have "the one person who needs POP" enable it globaly, disable it in COS's>features, then enable it for an individual in user>features.
