Hi,

Step 1 has been a success. So far I've upgrade from 4.5.6 to 4.5.11 on the debian 3.1 binaries. Going further, I have some questions regarding the steps mmorse gave me:

-Remove your current /opt/zimbra

remove as in ./install -u or rm -rf /opt/zimbra?

-Install 4.5.11 using the -s flag with the debian 4 binaries

What's the -s flag for?

-Move the rsync or whatever the /opt/zimbra directory backup into place.

-Run the normal installer

Run the 4.5.11 debian 4 installer again and use the upgrade option?

-Make sure GID's & UID's still match & run zmfixperms as needed if you didn't keep attributes on your backup process.

Since this is all on the same machine, GID and UID shouldn't be an issue - right? How would I know if I need to run zmfixperms?

Thanks for the help.

Best,
A
