For testing purposes, I setup a second MX record and A record for my machine while testing ZCS. Then when I was ready to go online, I changed everything to the new server. If you're hosting your own DNS this is rather simple. If your ISP is hosting your DNS they may get a little perturbed if you ask them to make too many changes. Setting up the second set of records put to rest the question of no MX record while testing. |
