Not the official answer, but there is a way you can do it, albeit is sort of a work around.
Create a new contact, name it "Team" (or whatever the distribution list would be called), then copy/paste or type in all the email addresses, seperating each email address with a semicolong (e.g., "john@domain.com;
jim@domain.com;
sally@domain.com").
When you create a new email, you should be able use the address book, look for "Team" and your "distribution list" will be returned.
