I just tried this using
https://servername/dav/username under Leopard and it worked properly. So at this point I would probably agree that there is something wrong with the way Win XP handles WebDAV. I am still unsure as to whether the problem is with the fact that I am trying to use HTTPS instead of HTTP in Windows or that WebDAV simply does not work properly in Windows at all.
Has anyone gotten WebDAV to work under Windows XP or Vista with either HTTP or HTTPS?
