I used Linux for one reason and one reason only. Solaris cost too much. Then Sun changed the way they licensed Solaris. So I'm back using Solaris.
I have been able to port every open source program easily to Solaris. Including tinydns and qmail. btw check blastwave.org you might save yourself some time. I'll make a zone and see if I can get this working since Zimbra isn't taking the time.
Amazing they choose mac os over Solaris. Hello Solaris is an enterprise operating system. ZFS BABY! Anyone that has done any work on this should start a post over at opensolaris.org under discuss you'll get a lot of sun engineers excited about it and they are very helpful. |
