If you we're a NE customer you could open a support case and have them add/tag it to the RFE - the more paying customers ask the higher it gets ranked. If it's something very organization specific you could always talk to sales to see what could be done. But first you should really tell us the feature idea because there may already be something in the works. We ask that people search bugzilla throughly to see if it already exists (sounds like you did this part) then
get an RFE open.
