Cleaning up the Zimbra area I've gone through several upgrades now and I've noticed that there are folders with multiple versions of the same component accumulating in the Zimbra folder. For instance, I have:
amavisd
amavisd-new-2.4.3
amavisd-new-2.5.2
clamav
clamav-0.88.5
clamav-0.88.7
clamav-0.90.2
clamav-0.91.2
It appears that amavisd points to amavisd-new-2.5.2 and clamav points to clamav-0.91.2. Can I safely delete the older version folders?
Others with multiple folders are cyrus-sasl*, java/jdk*, mysql*, snmp/net_snmp*, openldap*, perdition*, and sleepycat*.
The backup time and space requirements have grown significantly over the last couple of upgrades so I'm trying to reclaim space and reduce the backup load. Thanks in advance for advice and help. |
