 Installation fails without even trying.
Hi,
I always get stuck installing Zimbra at the point where I have to press enter to start the install. I've spent a couple of weeks solidly on installing Zimbra. The installation complains about my hosts file not being correct. Once I managed to go further and get it to install but it was by copying and pasting from different forums, obiuosly now I can't remember what I did. As I'm novice to Linux thought this thread will help me install Zimbra but it does not help me to configure my MX record in DNS. Can anyone help me with this step by step? The documentation about DNS assumes I know about scripting language or something as it does not make sense to me. Is there not a tool I can use that will setup my DNS for me.
My Windows mail server is collapsing and after seeing what Zimbra can do I'd love to use it. |
