You still need an MX record or postfix doesn't know how to find itself and various other bits will hiccup.
We need a valid A & MX records to work correctly and it must point to your zimbra server. If it's on the internet then it's your public IP, if you are behind a NAT device then you need the same thing but using a
Split DNS to point at your LAN IP address.
