Just took the client out for a spin. I am really impressed for the most part. This is the kind of technology that if it is widely deployed can really make a huge huge impact.
The good:
- The application seemed very fast. Much faster then the blackberry software itself, esp when switching folders.
- It appears to load emails as you go. Not a problem at all on my BB (very very fast), but I can see this being slow pretty easily.
- Look and feel is solid.
The Bad:
- Lost sync once.Had to change folder to get it synchronizing again.
The Ugly:
- The UI is too wide for the pearls screen. It seems to think it's much wider then it is, so the right hand portion of the screen is off
