Categories are turned into tags. Zimbra tags don't differentiate item types.

Zimbra server behaves the same way (well, maybe with 1% diff) to all devices. In terms of device capability, PocketPC WM5 gives you much more features than other devices. RoadSync on S60 platform is also a good client based on my personal experience, but not officially supported due to limited QA.
