I must be mistaken but if I am, the option is certainly hidden.
I love the product but the lack of formatting options is severe.
I have also been unable to paste material with graphics into the composition.

Have you checked in
bugzilla for that RFE, have you voted on it? If an RFE doesn't get votes it will stay down the list of 'required' features.
