The conversation does not contain a fragment. Only the messages contain fragments. The fragment displayed for a conversation in a search result is the fragment of the "topmost" (most recent, etc, depending on the sort) message in the conversation matching that sort.
So no, once a message is expired there will be no trace of it in its old conversation. And, if all messages in the conversation were expired, the conversation goes away as well. |
