Yep, I second that. At least in Thunderbird, the address search result list shows the account name, not the display name. When you look at the properties of the address entry, the field 'Display' is set to the account name.
I tried both auto and explicit settings for Display Name in Zimbra's account management, makes no difference to T-bird (server is M2 on FC4).
