to be honest i don't know for sure anymore...i'm not even sure if those changes fixed the problem or some amavis commands ... still i think that the antivirus was causing the problems.. you could try jholder suggestion first ..also ,read this

i think i tried this command too : amavisd debug-sa
i'm sorry that i can give you more precise info but since then i solved lots of others problems (on some other servers too
) and i simply don't recall what exactly fixed my problem..
