I sympathize with your backup failure-my problem is I never save development/project backups long enough-I always delete something and need it the next day...even with multiple dedicated backup servers/tapedrives/etc...and even with 3TB of space on a machine I'll still go through and clean out stuff only to find I need it.
I assume open source version? # of users/system hardware?
(Compiling a database of version, users, hardware (Cpu, RAM, HD/RAID config) and of course the date. My problem is going to be keeping them up-to-date and useful, but still contain everything if people want to digg deeper. The more details you can give the better! |
