Default could not connect to exchange

We have a user who while using the iSync connector keeps getting the message "iSync couldn't connect to Exchange" and under that it says "Could not reach the server specified". Any ideas on how to remedy this? We've already tried to uninstall the connector and redownload but we get the same results.
