teehee, you've hit one of the common misunderstandings with zimbra
zimbra contains all it's own software - it doesn't use any of the system stuff really. this is particularly true with stuff like system apache and postfix, disable *everything* before you install/run zimbra, then if you really want to bring them back up carefully afterwards.
