Greg,
In past threads regarding Zimbra's LDAP implementation and Samba, the Zimbra team stressed that it was a good idea to use an external LDAP directory, since there was no assurance that an update to Zimbra wouldn't muck up the schemas associated with the Samba accounts. Has this stance changed with the new admin extensions, or is it still something to worry about?
Just using threads like
this for reference. If this does make it easier to implement a Zimbra/Samba solution, then I'm all for it, because it's something that I've been looking in to for a while now.
