Besides, Zimbra Desktop won't allow new incoming mail to be seen or mail to be sent while the main mailstore is down. We are essentially trying to provide mail availability if our main location goes down by having a second zimbra server in another location that can store the last 2-3 days of mail and allow users to see new emails and send out emails.
(And clustering doesn't help, since if our main location goes down, the whole cluster would be unavailable) |
