Used Option # 2:

> -. upgrade in software only mode, edit migration script, run zmseup.pl
> 1. install.sh -s
> 2. edit /opt/zimbra/libexec/scripts/migrate20060911-
> MailboxGroup.pl and
> comment out lines 75-78
> 3. run /opt/zimba/libexec/zmsetup.pl

Worked flawlessly. I'll be cleaning out the orphaned tables over the next couple days in preparation for the 4.5.3 upgrade.
