I copied the text into a file called Cmd.diff without the ----- at the top and bottom. Here's what happened:
[zimbra@zimbra Net]$ patch -p1 Cmd.pm Cmd.diff
patching file Cmd.pm
patch: **** malformed patch at line 4: }

Suggestions?
