I have the DNS issues taken care of. I found that I did not have a line in the resolv.conf that I needed.
search zcs.sitediscovery.com
Once I added that, I stopped resolving unknown hosts to my external IP.
I still setup split DNS since it sounded like a good idea.
I'm going to open another thread on the mail sending issues.
