Arrow point

Hello,

That IS the point.

I'am not talking large scale, where generating additional job for maintaining
addidional dedicated server is not a problem.

I'am looking for a opensource groupware which fits into existing IT-Infrastructur.
  • Exchange is not maintained from me.
  • It generates too much costs and is not extendable in a opensource way.
  • Exchange is NOT fitting in any secure environment (my opinion)
  • Hell - I'm looking for REAL alternatives (why I would be on this site else?)

There are a lot of customization in my postfix, samba, apache, tomcat
setup.
  • Attachment Striping to samba shares
  • Mailinglists
  • Ticket, Ordering and Bugtracking System
  • Archiving System
  • Enterprise Virus Checking

just to name some.
well - those system has to stay productive.

I will have a deeper look and already try out zimbra on a dedicated machine....

w'll see

PS: How will you guarantee security to all those packages?
Don't you think that a team of security experts (like the Debian Security Team is)
can provide better services?
