We've fixed a lot of issues with CSV import, hopefully it should work better for you in the next release.
For calendars, we have added a way to subscibe to a remote calendar (see
www.icalshare.com, for example). What we still need to add is the ability to import a calendar. It is a matter of UI only, as the server functionality is already there.
