Hello.....

I'm having much the same problem......

try shutting down your imapproxy.........by logging in as root and 'su - zimbra'

then

zmperditionctl stop

tomcat start

and let me know how you make out.....

I just discovered that if my imapproxy is running...tomcat will not run...and if imapproxy is stopped...then tomcat will start......

..so...what does this mean...it means that my imapproxy is incorrectly configured to listen on either port 110 or 143 causing a conflict with tomcat....and I'm still in the process of sorting this new relevation out.....

...but I'm curious if you have the same problem as I do...

I'm running on FC4.....what are you running on...???

I'm still very happy with ZIMBRA.....this little problem is NOTHING compared to the problems I used to have with MS/EXCHANGE.......once I found zimbra....I gave my MS SMALLBUSINESS SERVER 2000 SOFTWARE away...never to been seen or heard from again........
