It sounds like you could use a distribution list to get "sales@example.com" mail delivered to all the sales guys.
Shared mail folders are
a requested feature; please vote for it in bugzilla if you'd like to see it introduced.
If you'd like to create a real mailbox for "sales@example.com" and host your shared calendar there, that'd certainly work.
