I have gone through the entire make dev-install process, and now it says it is complete/installed.

I still cannot get zimbra to start with zmcontrol start

I did discover the initialization routine for mysql, and it appears to start correctly.

zmcontrol status now says:

Cannot determine services - exiting

Is there someplace else I can look for more information of what is trying to run, and failing?
