Default yes and no (and I hate Cingular)

Turns out that Cingular "upgraded" my service to a new version. In the process they wiped my inbox. Thanks a lot Cingular! Friking frak! Oh an in the process they automagically figured out that I support IMAP so the new version is going in via IMAP and non POP. Thanks for doing automagical deletes on me Cingular! Jerks.

Good news is that Zimbra is good to go.

Now for a different question. I have a backup of my 3.1.4 version of Zimbra that was running on my FC3 system (which was upgraded to FC4 on Monday to move to Zim 4.0.0). What's the best way to recover the emails that are on that version? BTW, the backup was done by taring the whole /opt/zimbra directory to another location.

Alternatively, is a message that's been recently deleted "held" somewhere so that I can just go un-delete it?

Thanks again.
