So the outside party is sending a message *on which a read receipt has been requested* (rather than sending the receipt itself), and you are seeing no "Would you like to send a receipt" prompt in Outlook?
OL2007->Tools->Options->Prefs tab->Email Options->Tacking Options.... is "ask me before sending a response" selected?
Also, does it work if the message is internal e.g. user sends a message with receipt request to themselves? |
