You're right, it is supposed to set the timezone from your PC. But it isn't! It doesn't matter if I use my mac, my wife's pc, Safari, Firefox, IE. It is the same thing, 4 hours ahead. We're Atlantic time (even checked my router's settings) and the calendar events are set as if they were Pacific time (four hours behind Atlantic).
In fact, if I change a user's time zone to Atlantic via the CLI, once that user logs in his time zone is changed back to Pacific (checked via the CLI again). This happens regardless of OS, browser, etc. |
