I could roll this out for a number of small biz clients (that would pay for the full edition), but this is really a show stopper. What business does not have a set of vendors, salescritters, support contacts, etc. that need to be available to all employees?
I did just vote, BTW. It looks like there's some activity on the bug. Is there a cvs version of zimbra I can check out and install to get even limited/buggy support for shared contacts?

You'd have to compile CVS yourself. But it's available. Just search for CVS in the announcements forum to get the host etc. We have started on the feature but I'm pretty sure it's not usable for sharing yet. I think only the multiple folders is supported at this time.
